Using Sessions

Sessions helps you record, transcribe, organize, and work with your notes. Local features work without an account. Cloud features require an account, internet access, and any applicable subscription and processing permission. Availability depends on your device, operating system, language, and region.

You must be legally able to accept these Terms. If you use Sessions for an organization, you must have authority to accept them on its behalf.

The App Store app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These Terms supplement that agreement for our website and cloud services. They do not replace it; the Standard EULA controls any conflict about the app license.

Your content and responsibilities

You keep your rights in your recordings, notes, and other content. You are responsible for having permission to record, import, and share that content, and for keeping any backups you need. Follow the recording and privacy laws that apply to you.

Do not use Sessions to break the law, infringe someone’s rights, harass others, distribute malware, or bypass security or usage controls. Sessions’ software, brand, and original materials remain protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the software except as permitted by its license or applicable law.

Transcripts and AI features

Transcripts, summaries, action items, and Assistant answers can be incomplete or incorrect. Check important results against the original source. Sessions is not an emergency service or a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

Cloud processing is optional and requires the applicable in-app agreement. Our Privacy Policy explains what is sent, how long it is kept, and the controls available to you.

Subscriptions and billing

Sessions is free to download. Sessions Pro offers monthly and annual billing options with the same Pro features: Cloud Transcription, Cloud Insights, Cloud Assistant, and Cloud Sync. The paywall shows the price, billing period, features, and any introductory offer before you subscribe.

Apple handles payments through your Apple Account. Payment is charged when you confirm a paid purchase, or when an eligible free trial ends. Your subscription renews automatically for the same billing period unless you cancel. Apple may charge for renewal during the 24 hours before the next period starts. Price changes follow the App Store’s notice and consent process where required.

Trial eligibility, duration, and the price after the trial are shown before confirmation. Unless cancelled, a trial becomes the selected paid subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current billing period ends to avoid the next charge.

Manage or cancel in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions → Sessions. Deleting Sessions or your Sessions account does not cancel a subscription. Paid access normally continues until the paid period ends; a trial may end when cancelled. Check the expiry date and any regional exceptions in Apple’s cancellation guide.

To restore a purchase, sign in to Sessions, use the Apple Account that made the purchase, and choose Restore Purchases on the paywall. For a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides eligibility under its rules and applicable law; see Apple’s refund guidance. Nothing here removes your mandatory refund or consumer rights.

Service availability and ending use

We may update features to maintain, secure, or improve Sessions, or restrict access for material breaches of these Terms. You can stop using Sessions at any time. Export anything you need before deleting the app or your account; local content may otherwise be lost.

To the extent permitted by law, the website and cloud services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Third-party services, including Apple and Google sign-in and destinations you choose for exports, have their own terms.

Liability and your rights

The Standard EULA governs liability under the app license. For the website and cloud services, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent permitted by law. These Terms do not add a separate monetary cap on liability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability, warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
